For the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Austria joining the European Union, this documentary is taking a look into the future and asking the question: How will life look like within the European Union and Austria 50 years from now? It is dedicated to future perspectives and scenarios of Europe.

For this production the Drahtwarenhandlung investigated available data and developed datavisualizations to explain the findings to the public. For example we scraped the geo-data of all of Europe's power supply lines, analyzed and processed it in order to visualize and render this data-set as an animated graphic. For this we developed our own interfaces to be able to import the data into the animation/graphics-software. With this approach we were able to develop accurate animations, based on previously "impossible" data for a consistent story in a very short time.
